Okay, imagine going for a random afternoon walk through a Los Angeles park and suddenly realizing Justin Bieber is sitting there playing music. 😂
That’s basically what happened Tuesday, Sept. 22, when Bieber showed up at MacArthur Park and put on a totally unexpected, intimate little performance. No giant stage. No crazy production. Just Bieber, a few musicians, a cajón and a small crowd that probably could not believe their luck.
He played songs including “Yukon,” “Let Me Love You,” “All I Can Take,” “Daisies” and “Speed Demon,” plus reportedly some unreleased music. Videos from the surprise set quickly started making their way around social media.
And honestly, this feels very on-brand for Bieber lately. He’s gone from headlining Coachella to performing at the 2026 FIFA World Cup Final, and now he’s casually turning a random park into his own tiny acoustic concert.
But there’s another reason this performance has people talking: the Super Bowl rumors. 👀
Justin’s name has been floating around as a potential performer for the 2027 Super Bowl halftime show. TMZ reported that Bieber and Harry Styles are reportedly high on Roc Nation’s wish list, although neither had been officially approached at the time of the report. So, to be clear, Justin Bieber performing at the Super Bowl is still just a rumor for now.
Still… after seeing him casually perform in a park, I feel like a massive Super Bowl stage would be a pretty fun next stop.
