Nicki Minaj is sounding off again and this time, it’s big.
The rapper took to X (formerly Twitter) on Oct. 15 to announce she’s canceling her upcoming album, which was expected to drop in March 2026, while also hinting at retirement and calling out JAY-Z.
Fans have been eagerly awaiting a follow-up to Pink Friday 2 (2023), especially after Nicki teased a “3.27.26” release date just last month (a tweet that still remains pinned).
The tension with JAY-Z may stem from her long-running issues with Roc Nation, which reignited after she criticized the company for choosing Kendrick Lamar over Lil Wayne for the 2024 Super Bowl Halftime Show in New Orleans.
Stay tuned…because knowing Nicki, this might not be the final word. 👀
