Diddy has reportedly been taken from prison to a hospital after suffering a head injury, and right now, there are still questions about what happened.
According to TMZ, the rapper was transported from the Federal Correctional Institution at Fort Dix in New Jersey early Saturday morning. He reportedly left around 1 a.m. and returned to the prison before 7 a.m. Sources told TMZ that Diddy was conscious and talking during the incident.
His representative told The Hollywood Reporter that they’re still trying to figure out exactly what happened, adding that his health and well-being are the immediate concern.
This comes as Diddy has been making headlines for his reported behavior behind bars, including allegations involving a contraband cellphone and tablet. There have also been reports that he had other inmates doing chores for him in exchange for money deposited into their prison accounts.
Diddy is currently serving a 50-month sentence after being convicted in 2025 on two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution. He was acquitted of the more serious racketeering conspiracy and sex trafficking charges.
He’s also appealing his conviction, and he’s currently expected to be released from federal custody in March 2028.
For now, the circumstances surrounding his reported head injury remain unclear.
